So...I know some of you out there have some ideas, and I know Scoville can draw. If anybody else can draw, maybe draw some concepts up for us, aye? Any story ideas, send 'em over, yes?

Scoville, I hesitate to ask this, but do you have any ideas? Perhaps you could do some caricatures or something? Don't feel obliged.

Biplane entreats you. Out.

I'm an idea kinda girl, what direction are you guys going in for the comic?

Right now, I'd be happy with any direction. 8)

Ohh la la.

Well, that leaves you open for anything, really.

How do you feel about aliens?

I believe we should use the comic to memorialize some of the infamious moments of our own history, I'm of course refering to such moments as "I'm so totally blind"-Bill "Chas are you watching for deer" asked arlen "I cant deal with that right now Arlen!" Chas replied. At least to start out they should be fairly easy I would think.

Don't forget Arlen's underwear flying out the window.

A comicized vision of Arlen's undies out the window would sell it for me. Would you consider basing one on your real life adventures, but "embroidering" (some would call it lying-not me, though-no sir) it with flights of impossible, irrational, inimitable fancy? A little vague, I know, but all is vagueness.

So, you mean, like, a comic where I get up, have breakfast, get in my car, go to school, fight a dragon, go to class, save an embattled people from certain doom, take a lab practical, get in my car, go home, storm the dark ramparts of an evil fortress, and go to bed?

That might cover a comic.

Some comics that have difficulty deciding start with several comics that are nothing but them talking about what they're gonna do - one such comic could be Bill imagining this stuff.

That's pretty much what I had in mind, Biplane. I think everybody's got a rich, untapped (by most), interior life that could be fodder for an, at times, surreal approach to their mundane "real" life. Sorta Walter Mitty (story by Thurber) meets Conan (my favorite barbarian). Perhaps that dragon you slay could morph out of a fellow classmate, or the guy who cut you off in the parking lot, or your instructor. Not the most original premise, but in the "hands" of your imagination....

I have many ideas, but very little time to do them. I have a good idea for an old west comic I've been wanting to do for a long time. About an old gunslinger who makes deal with the devil. He wears a pentagram rather than a tin star. Ha. lame but cool.

So... he's a sheriff? Federal marshall? Outlaw? Sounds pretty sweet. His gun never runs out of bullets, right? That was the deal? And who are his enemies? I gotta say, this is one of the coolest ideas for a comic I've ever heard. Maybe the overall theme could be that this guy wants redemption, but he knows that he can never have it? Something like that? A real intense, introverted-type personality? Dark eyes? Unshaven? Only speaks a few words at a time, if at all? Hey, maybe he could be a mute or something! Mutes are cool.

Being mute takes precious time away from using his hands to shoot.

I don't know if he's mute or if it's the coolest. I sort of based him off the the guy in Unforgiven (clint eastwood version).

Yeah see the thing is he regrets the deal, but the problem is he's old. He's not fast like he was. He doesn't want to go to hell that's for sure. He doesn't want to die period obviously, that's why he makes the deal. It's partly about this battle in him for self preservation and good and evil and of course salvation. There are always the new guys coming around to test him and see if he's fast. To make a name for themselves. He's constantly at his own throat about whether or not it's right to kill these new kids to preserve himself who he so obviously considers evil. I've thought it out quite a bit. The Devil always popping in to have a drink with him and chat after he kills a another fast gunslinger kid through some sort of old gunslinger trick and of course the extra bullet. the Devil degrades him. Makes him feel even more evil. It's really about Palageanism. Which was an early heresy in the church and is still rampant. You have to wonder if he'll be saved in the end. Personally I see a little bit of zombie action coming into play but I'm keeping that on the DL.

Anywhoooo.... Now someones going to read this and steal my idea. Oh yeah and he's got sidekicks. An American Indian and a few other guys. I drew them all out in College.

Scoville, I hesitate to ask this, but do you have any ideas?
I'm not sure if I should be offended by that?
